Witch Hunt – The Darkest Chapter in Dundee’s History
🔥 Accusation. Persecution. Execution. 🔥
In the chill of autumn, when the nights draw in, we invite you to walk the very streets where Dundee’s so-called “witches” were hunted, tortured, and burned.
Join us as we uncover the horrifying reality of Scotland’s witch trials—where suspicion could mean a death sentence, and women were persecuted, banished, or brutally executed for crimes they never committed. This is the true story of Grissell Jaffray—the last woman executed for witchcraft in Dundee—but she was far from the only one.
We’ll take you to the sites where accused witches were imprisoned, interrogated, and tortured, and we’ll reveal the fear, superstition, and religious fervour that fueled this deadly hysteria.
⚠️ Warning: This tour contains graphic descriptions of torture, execution, and historic cruelty. Recommended for ages 13+.

Wonderfully informative tour that puts a name and personal story to a gruesome period of history. Louise and Stewart are lovely, knowledgeable guides who pay respect to the departed, while not pulling any punches about what happened to them.

Brilliant! Organised a private tour for my daughter’s 16th birthday with 7 friends – they LOVED it! They thoroughly enjoyed hearing all the gore, torture and scary stories – talked about it for the rest of the night!
Stewart & Louise as always highly entertaining, informative and so easy to listen to.
Thanks so much!!
